On the 30th of November 2025, the Grand Miner President of the Democratic Republic of Satoshi met with the President of Agatonia at the Embassy of Satoshi to the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
Signing of treaty
At 14:45 UTC+1 the representatives of both nations signed a Treaty of mutual recognition, diplomacy and cooperation to officially establish foreign relations. The signing of this treaty also allows citizens of Agatonia to enter Satoshi visa-free.
A long history
The representatives of both nations first met each other at the Digi Micro Summit 2024, on 15 August 2024. The nations established an unofficial friendship during this event. In Q3 2025, following a call between the Heads of State, the Heads of State agreed that a physical meeting should be scheduled. The Embassy was selected as the venue for the meeting due to its close proximity to both Heads of State.
The Future
At the end of the state visit, the President of Agatonia invited the Grand Miner President to visit Agatonia, an invitation which will certainly be followed up on. It is not known yet when this planned meeting will take place.
All in all, the meeting was success and marks the start of a wonderful friendship.
