Our new flag: the start of a new era

Today, the Democratic Republic of Satoshi celebrates Flag Day and unveils its new flag, thus turning the page to the next chapter for our nation.

Why are we doing this?

When we founded Satoshi, we believed that bitcoin and cryptocurrencies could be a nice addition to our nation. However, for the past months, we have been stalked digitally by individuals who believe themselves to be “like-minded individuals”. They claimed that they wish to see a new libertarian world, and wanted us to join them. They also wished to accomplish this goal by scamming innocent people. We vehemently rejected their proposals but our rejection was not accepted by these individuals, and they continue to act in way that conflict with our core values. We have not associated ourselves with cryptocurrencies, as we do not believe in these principles anymore. Thus, we now present our new identity.

Let us consider our starting symbols as a débutant’s mistake and hope we can start fresh with this identity.

What does this flag mean?

The National Flag of the Democratic Republic of Satoshi, consists of 5 horizontal stripes with three orange starts centered. The blue and yellow, signify the colors of the flag of Curaçao, and the red and green signifies the colors of the flag of Mexico. Both flags share white as a common color, hence it is in the middle, to connect the flags. Additionally, the colors of the flag of the Netherlands is present. Most citizens originate from these countries, and still feel connected to it. It represents the duality of citizenship. The orange stars represent the founders of Satoshi.
