Joining the Micronational Postal Association
On the 2nd of January 2026, the Democratic Republic of Satoshi joined the Micronational Postal Association, an organisation aiming to promote cooperation between micronational postal services. This organisation is led by the Republic of West Who.
Accession to the Micronational Space Cooperation Treaty
On the 3rd of January 2026, the Democratic Republic of Satoshi signed the Micronational Space Cooperation Treaty, a treaty aiming to promote cooperation between micronational space agencies.
Joining the Micronational Travel & Sightseeing Association
On the 4th of January 2026, the Democratic Republic of Satoshi joined the Micronational Travel & Sightseeing Association, a micronational organisation spearheaded by Zar Antonov of Obscurium. This organisation attempts to promote physical travel to other micronations. More information can be read here: https://obscurium-gov.wixsite.com/micro-travel.
Hosting the Digi Micro Summit 2026
From the 2nd of January to the 4th of January, the Democratic Republic of Satoshi, Principality of Sancratosia and the United Republic of Obscurium hosted the Digi Micro Summit 2026. This event, which was hosted on an online platform garnered the attention of dozens of micronationalists and is considered to be a success. A line-up of respected micronationalists gave presentations on an array of topics, ranging from Emergency Planning in Micronations by George of Slabovia to the language barriers between micronations by Luis of Atlia.
Accession to the Thalmann Charter
On the 22nd of January 2026, the Democratic Republic of Satoshi signed the Thalmann Charter, a micronational treaty which aims to regulate the process of exchanging currencies between micronational governments and banks.
